Pyra Sutra: “Queen of the Blazing Bustier" (photo)Born and raised in the sweltering desert heat, she studied ballet through a highly accredited ballet academy. However, dancing in tights under the searing sun wasn't quite warm enough for this scintillating belle, so she decided to turn up the heat by taking her studies to a different level; she began dancing with fire. Eventually, like a rising Phoenix, Pyra ascended over the desert enchanting all with her many pyrotechnic talents! Currently, she's proud to be co-directing, dancing and sharing her love for pyro in the Scandalesque experience. Watch out for this pyrotechnic bombshell.....she'll light your night aflame!
Lady Fontayne: "The Seductive Songstress" (photo)
After growing up singing at the piano for her mama, this bewitching Scandalesque darling started traveling the U.S. singing, dancing and breaking hearts with her seductive sirenesque charm! Now, not only does this alluring songbird skillfully shake her assets on the stage, she also co-directs for Scandalesque! As Tom Jones would say: She's a lady!

Naughty Niki-ta: "The Russian Mistress" (photo)By the time this petite Russian dame hit age thirteen she was a champion gymnast; Ringling Brothers Circus took notice of her special skills and put her on tour as a flying trapeze dancer. After traveling the world dancing on elephants and hanging forty feet above for several years, she moved to America to pursue a different passion: American Men and Scandalesque. Ladies, hold on to your fellas, she may be petite but she's a lion in disguise!
Peek-A-Boo Pixie-Lou: "The Mischievous Trickster" (photo)
The Rocky Mountains couldn’t handle this Scandalesque beauty. Her mischeivious antics got her tossed out of the small bohemian mountain town, where she grew up. Leaving a trail of pixie dust, she high-tailed it to the heat of the desert, where she could wear less, and kick up her heals! Along the journey she learned some new tricks to lure men into her mischevious world. Now she is performing these tricks in Scandalesque, wrapping men around each of her little fingers!

Madame Zai: "The Madame of all Zai's" (photo)This Scandalesque madame always finds a way to catch her prey. Brandishing a lethal wit coupled with a predatory grace, whether she's singing on the stage or dancing on the casbah, this sensually commanding vixen will hypnotically caress your nerves and senses until you’re under her spell! Ask any one of the members of Scandalesque and they’d tell you…”when she's thirsty you’re best to beware”!
Broadway Betty: "The New York Scarlet of Burlesque" (photo)
Even dancing professionally in New York wasn't enough to satisfy this sultry scarlet. Forever desiring more, she grabbed her top hat and cane, waved au revoir to the Big Apple, and set-off on a desert-bound train! Having never looked back, you can now experience the metropolitan-tinged talents of this Broadway baby as she dances and swings through the air on her trapeze with the lovely ladies of Scandalesque!

Scandalesque Audition Announcement! - Scandalesque is holding auditions for professional female dancers and performing artists between the ages of 21-35. Auditions will be held at the Mystic Jewell Dance Studio, Saturday July 12th at 3:30 pm. Please come prepared to learn a short group dance number, taught by a Scandalesque choreographer, and to perform your own 60 - 90 second solo act showcasing any special talents. This class is for those who have previous dance training or have taken the burlesque dance class and want to progress in the art of the tease! In this class we will stress technique, improvisation and solo work.

This class will focus on classic burlesque moves as well as technique. No previous dance training required. Please wear clothes you can move in...no jeans please!

Scandalesque Burlesque Workshop
Good Morning Ladies…I just wanted to send a big thanks to Pyra Sutra ( love playing with fire), Lady Fontayne and Naughty Niki-ta (I will never look at a hula hoop the same LOL) and Satan's Angel (loved her stories) for the great experience I had on Saturday and Sunday during Burlesque 101. I was pushed to limit and had the time of my life. The class will forever be etched in my memory.
Would like to send a very special thanks to Lady Fontayne for helping me with my routine with out her I would have been a total mess. What an awesome woman.
Getting in touch with my inner goddess was great fun, tiresome but a really good time.
I love free spirited people!

Just wanted to say that I saw your show tonight at the Paper Heart (Sept 8) and I was blown away! I brought 3 friends and we had a blast, we'll definitely be back in the future, hopefully with more friends with us. It was one of the most unique, memorable times out I've had in a long time...
Anyway, keep doing what you're doing...
